چکیده
The purpose of this study is to investigate healthy people’s and patients’ lower extremity muscle activities during robotic gait using kinesiology analysis. Initially, signals were taken from 6 paraplegic patients such as spinal cord injury (SCI) stroke patients, 2 hemiplegic 4 persons. Then, analyzed by signal processing techniques filtering, rectifying, Root Mean Square (RMS) also calculating the Max Voluntary Contraction (MVC). As a result, it was seen that hip muscles Gluteus Maximus (GMA), Medius (GM) Iliopsoas (ILP) had MVC values in than those SCI Additionally, when obtained analyzed, found activity Medial Gastrocnemius (MG) could be used determination movement path intention. Moreover, EMG results motion may helpful applying accurate amplitude frequency stimulation epidural (ES) therapy.

reproducibility of maximum voluntary isometric contraction in "empty can" position during surface electromyographic analysis of shoulder muscles
objective: due to the frequent use of surface electromyography as a tool for the study of muscle function, to accurately compare electromyographic data from different muscles and different subjects, it is necessary to normalize the integrated data obtained from each muscle. the most common normalization technique is the use of maximum voluntary isometric contraction (mvic) of a predetermined is...
متن کاملEstimating the EMG response exclusively to fatigue during sustained static maximum voluntary contraction
The increase of surface electromyography (sEMG) root-mean-square (RMS) is very frequently used to determine fatigue. However, as RMS is also influenced by muscle force, its effective usage as indicator of fatigue is mainly limited to isometric, constant force tasks. This research develops a simple methodto preclude the effect of muscle force, hereby estimates the EMG amplitude response exclusivel...

متن کاملTrainability of Muscular Activity Level during Maximal Voluntary Co-Contraction: Comparison between Bodybuilders and Nonathletes
Antagonistic muscle pairs cannot be fully activated simultaneously, even with maximal effort, under conditions of voluntary co-contraction, and their muscular activity levels are always below those during agonist contraction with maximal voluntary effort (MVE). Whether the muscular activity level during the task has trainability remains unclear. The present study examined this issue by comparin...
